To continue their already successful season, the Walpole Boys Wrestling team defeated the Needham Rockets on Thursday, Jan. 11. Throughout the entire match, Walpole remained ahead of Needham and secured a lead at the very beginning which they upheld to the end. The wrestling team’s current record is 19-4 and they hold the league’s record for the second most wins in a season.“The team has been doing very well this year,” Senior Sean McCullough said. “Many returning seniors and freshman have stepped up and become core members of the team. I attribute our success to the hard work of everyone on the team.”
